Veranda decking – formed from a special composite materials offer many advantages over traditional wood. The composite material consists of polymeric resins and plastics combined with pulp fibers. By pressing the composite in the shape allows the creation of boards featuring realistic wood grain surface. Special dyes are adding to mimic the colors of both rare and common species of wood. Veranda decks resists fading and damage better than natural materials, and installation is not much different from building a wooden deck.
Place the first board of the wooden deck and the line up to the edge of outer rule. Attach the hidden fastening tabs that come with Veranda decking to the grooves on the inside of the first row. Snap the next row of boards on the open tab on hidden fastening. Then, each board has tracks that fit the tab, allowing the decking to sit in place without as many screws as wood board. Install two hidden fasteners so that both boards are equally entrenched.
Check your doors. Cut grating that overlap the sides of the deck with a metal blade on a circular saw. Add a border of the fascia around the edges of the outer boards to keep them in place. Install veranda decking railing or banister also do this, so do not need fascia if you end the game with these products.
